what’s the point in having a house on gc?

This will be worth reading. Wtf is the point in actually having a house on GC if the vast majority of them aren’t even wet lodges? Is having a house mainly just for show? If that’s the case then wtf is the benefit of rushing big Greek if all you can do with it is gloat that your house is “top tier” on this website?

I’ve heard from many ppl that they rent out bars to party and never use the house. It all just seems so stupid to me. Why are we out here comparing frats and lodges if all you’re doing is having a weekly chapter meeting in them? Keep in mind I’m a senior in high school so I could be totally wrong but this is based on everything I’ve heard. Rushing small Greek might be the move if it’s so much cheaper. Thoughts?

Join where you like the guys. Your not going to like your frat if your just joining it because it’s a “top house”

Focus on graduating high school and then if you lucky enough to be able to rush go though the formal process and pick the house that has the people in you fit in with best. Some people fit in best with the “top” houses and other people fit in the best with “garbage” houses. It’s college don’t let tiers define your fun.
