silly

This is not UT, Bama or LSU. Tech's greek system is comparable to Sam Houston or Texas State. There are no rich girls at Tech lol Quit trying to put the sororities into tiers--it's a joke

Agree with silly. Anyone gets into Tech! Anyone gets into a sorority at Tech! Come play with the big girls and you would all be at the bottom. So appreciate what you have and quit being what you are NOT!

It really harder to get into LSU and Bama than Tech? I thought that is why Texas girls went there, because it is easier to get into than UT and TAMU!

has a way better Greek system than SHSU and quite a bit better than Texas State too, but definitely not better than Bama, UT, or LSU.

Wealth argument is ridiculous. Ivy League schools have more money are there Greek systems better?

I would say the Ivy League is most similar to UT.

Both are schools for the smarter students of the demographic (Ivy League for the nation and UT for Texas), and both have greek systems that are well-known/respectable because of historical reasons and traditions.

Since the 90s when the 10% rule has been in effect, I think other texas schools have been able to benefit from the rule with stronger greek systems since not everyone gets into UT. Thus equalizing UT with other schools in the state for quality of greek life

I said similar not the same. UT is a public ivy, and because of this they draw the same type of students

UT gets top 10% of texas students
Ivies usually get top 10% of american students

Both UT and the Ivy leagues schools have alot of greek/secret society/dining club tradtions that date back to the early years of the school.
