sorority pcs

I know looks shouldnt be everything when ranking how well a sorority did during rush this but since thats all anyone cares about on this site
Pi Phi- of course did amazing this year but i think they have done better in past years for sure
Tri delt- didnt really do as well as normal as far as looks go but i think thats due to whats been going on the past yr internally
Theta- looked really good, they usually go for girls based off of grades so im surprised with how good they looked compared to other years
A Phi- has an amazing looking pledge class but they usually have that since they only go for looks
Kappa- surprisingly didnt look so good compared to last year and the year before but maybe they finally stopped going for just looks
Chi O- pretty normal looking pledge class for Chi O. Some really pretty ones
DG- looked really good for DG and am actually impressed
Zeta- idk what the hell happened, guess the racism finally got to them
AXO- normal axo girls idk. Still steadily falling in ranks
AXid- kind of impressed with the girls this year, they look good especially for a house that is newish. Props
KD- same as last year i dont rlly know
ADPI- same as last year but i feel bad they only had a few girls pledge and am kinda confused as to why their numbers were so low from the start of their new PC

I agree, that’s why Alpha Phi at Tech and nationally should re-evaluate what they stand for, because it is not a respected sorority because everywhere they have chapters with poor grades, only recruit for looks, Party girl image, and poor sisterhood.
APhi is nationally devaluing women by promoting being a pretty party girl

Looks only get you so far, in the real world you can be cute and dumb all day which won't get you respected or promoted. Go ask a real woman who is successful in the biz world if she wishes if she were prettier or smarter. She wont say prettier, trust me. Look at the things that really matter.

You all are discounting the fact that any of the "pretty girls" in Alpha Phi or Zeta have other qualities besides looks. They are not dumb pretty rocks. So get off your high horses about judging "for looks: because that is exactly what you are doing. Bring on the rationales and excuses, but truth is truth. My friend is an Aphi at Northwestern. They recruit for more than looks. I have a few APhi and Zeta friends here. They are sweet and fun or I wouldn't be friends with them. Quit judging.

Looks at TTU aphi seems to be first priority.
Yes these girls could also have more to offer, of course, but the superficial method of selecting PMMs by looks as first priority is not what’s best for building a solid all around chapter.
As posted above ask aphi member why they had members walk out during recruitment.

Alpha Phi does drop girls for grades, they just arent as strict as other chapters at Tech are. I had multiple friends get dropped from A Phi that were attractive but had really low GPAs. Chapters like KD, AdPi, Zeta and Axd have much lower grade requirements.
Also keep in mind that most sororities have higher GPA averages than the overall TTU GPA average still

Even if it’s somehow true that adpi was completely allowed to bend all pan rules, i dont think taking a tiny pledge class was a good option. About 30- 40 girls usually drop their sororities before their senior year so in what world would it be a good idea to only take like 30?

their nationals came in and advised the cuts. doing stiffer cuts is not against pan rules if done with approval. it looks as though they will be retaining #s by doing spring recruitment!
