Be sure to let Panhellenic know you are interested in COB.
Get to know girls in your classes of houses you are interested in (or even not interested in, you may be surprised)
Meanwhile join other tech organizations. Most chapters require involvement in groups other than their houses. You will meet girls there or will find your people in academic fraternities/sororities or faith based organizations and may find traditional sorority not your thing after all.

Ditto above. My best friend dropped out of recruitment half way through last year cuz she had her heart set on 1 house only and they cut her. She started making friends with girls that coincidentally happened to be in one of the houses she had previously snubbed. Months later got a COB from that house and she loves the girls! She’s so happy that she joined them and loved taking part in recruitment this year. I’m in a different house but hang out with them a lot with my friend. Fun girls!
