so i have connections with kappas but apparently they are SUPER selective... is it even possible to get in if i’m not a legacy?

Kappa is very selective but it's definitely possible to get in without being a legacy. Pledge classes are made up of about 5-15 legacies out of 70-80 total girls, just depending on the house/their legacy policy/selectiveness/the girls,etc. It's different every year.
