They really shouldn't be. I glanced through the websites of all of the sororities. There are pretty girls in each one - as well as some that aren't as physically attractive. Overall they seem pretty much even. It's just a stereotype that girls wants to continue. Makes some girls feel good to bash others....

KD- super nice, not very attractive but excellent philanthropy
ADPi-several beauty queens but offset by a few chubbies, could be less snobby
DG- weird is a good description of DG, some are a little manly and some are ok, not very sorority

Is the worst 'observation' I've ever seen. KD's philanthropy is average at best. I've yet to meet a snobby ADPi - that's more Kappa's thing. As for DG, its nice that at least one sorority cares about the inside of a girl a well as the outside, though they would do well to place a bit more importance on appearance.
As for being sorority - no sorority at Tech is truly sorority. sororitys live in the sorority house, which Tech doesn't allow.
