“top tiers”
by: HeyHonestly, is it even worth it to be in a “Top tier” sorority? Obviously it’s argued that the top ones are Pi Phi, Tri Delt and KKG but I heard most don’t even do a lot with their philanthropy, never go out and don’t have the best sisterhood. Is it really worth it? Are tiers really discussed that often?

Of those 3, kappa is the only one that goes out. tridelt is the only one that does anything with their philanthropy. sisterhood prob depends on who u ask and their individual experience. Tri delt has a bad retention rate here meaning a lot of members have a negative experience and drop. Tier discussion can happen sometimes depending who u hang with, but the people who you truly want around you aren’t ones that care about tiers. I went where I felt I could be myself instead of pretending to be perfect all the time

Cause ranks are bs, and this is why you shouldn’t be swayed by them
The houses mentioned are absolutely not everyone’s top houses.

Tri deltas senior class last year had over 50 members in the PC. That was the largest senior class on Greek circle. Wouldn’t say the retention rates are bad. Also, it is incorrect to say only Kappa go out and only tri delta participate with philantrophy. You must not be in Greek life at Texas Tech
