do dg’s take legacies seriously?

My friend and I are rushing at Tech this fall and she is a legacy for DG and has her heart and life set on it. Do DG’s take legacies easily? or not really?

Every house gives a certain priority to legacies through a a couple of days of recruitment, but if you’re not a fit you won’t get a bid.
I would think it’s the same for all houses. (No one from any house is going to tell you how many days they keep legacies-especially here. Someone may pretend to know....)
Best advice is to not have your heart set on any house and just have an open mind.

Well DG barely even cuts non-legacies so I imagine it's highly unlikely that they would cut a legacy
