letters of rec

What are the chances that I'll get a bid despite not having any letters of rec? I went through a really traumatic family situation this summer that led me to not even think I was still gonna go to tech let alone rush. I contacted alums a while ago and im working on getting as many as I can before I go but some haven't replied and I'm just not sure how the recs will turn out or if ill end up getting any at all bc of how late it is :// Not that I didn't try or didn't want to, things just turned out differently for me!
