sophomore rush

So due to unforeseen circumstances, I have to move from my Texas town to San Diego and attend a juco there for my freshman year only. I had planned on going to Tech, began preparing for recruitment and everything till a lot of personal family stuff came up which is now forcing me to do this. I’m heartbroken but optimistic because after this year, I’ll be able to continue what I planned but my only concern is how hard is it to get a bid as a sophomore? I understand I’ll basically have to prepare as a freshman again w/ Recs, photos, etc which is fine but will I even have a chance as a sophomore and a transfer?
