sorority rush as a sophomore (ttu)

I went through rush as a freshman, but my hs gpa was really bad & i got cut from the houses i loved! I want to rush again as a sophomore bc my gpa is now above a 3.5, but I️m worried they will still look at my hs gpa & I­t­ will cause me to go through the same situation as I did my freshman year! Has anybody rushed as a sophomore & had good luck doing so? TIA!!:)
