sorority spring rush

IF there is going to be a spring rush this year when will it be held? End of January/Beginning of February or not until March? Also, can someone please describe how the spring rush process works? Do I have to sign up? Thanks :)

Few houses do spring rush.
Most do it by invitation, so if you know someone in a sorority let them know you're interested.
Also look up Panhellinic email address & contact them to let them know you are interested. They will pas your info to houses.
Each house will have their own dates & times of events.

I have had a couple of people offer to write me rec letters for spring rush. Should they still send them in or are they typically not used during spring rush?
