do sororities judge based off of size?

by:

I'm rushing next year as I'm a Pi Phi legacy, but I'm very nervous that because I'm not skinny, I don't stand a chance. I know Pi Phi is a top house at Tech, but do all the sororities judge based off of size?

Your fake question in an attempt to cause conflict is so obvious...

Hey! Trust me I feel your pain. The people above are stupid so don’t listen to them. Sorority are not about size or beauty or who has the blondest hair or the whitest teeth. I know it seems like that, but it’s isnt. They judge off of your involvement, your grades and your overall attitude. So don’t worry about what you look like and just be yourself!

B.S.!!!!!!! PiPhi is the most judgmental sorority at TTU. TBH if you want to be a Pi PHi( most stuck up Sorority on campus ) I suggest you start dieting NOW!!!!

The only way to know for sure is to go through recruitment with an open mind, I'm sure you will have a great experience! All sororities at tech do NOT judge based on size. Just strictly based off the people I've seen in, Pi Phi and Zeta do not have a lot of diversity whatsoever in size. I have seen larger girls in Kappa, Tri Delt and Theta.. all top houses.

As far as Pi Phi goes, I just am not sure. I think you have to be a really specific type of girl to enjoy it anyways. I know girls that have gone and have felt like it's high school and have hated it and been really miserable, and I know girls who LIVE to be a pi phi and think it's the greatest thing that's ever happened to them. I think since there isn't a whole lot of diversity in anything, you really have to fit in to like it. But that's just the outside looking in, maybe that's not true.

Everyone says rushees should go through recruitment with an open mind, which is true, but houses like Pi phi and some others don't have "open minds" when looking for new members.
Best sisterhood seems to be at so called "mid level" and "lower" houses.
More "open minded" houses who want to get to know you.
You will see going through rush that many girls start going through recruitment thinking they really want a top house, then seeing it's not really where they want to be. \n\n\n\n\n

Two of my closest friends were Pi Phis and they were large. They were fun, hilarious, active in many on campus things, and smart too. Regardless of what people say on here, Pi Phi doesn’t seem to cut you solely on weight.

Hey girl! No not all the sororities judge off of size! In fact none of them do. Going through rush week is the worst time of
Your life and makes you wonder why tf you’re even slig this crap but if you really really want to do it. Stick with it and give it your all. Pi Phi girls are some of the sweetest girls I’ve met at tech and do not jusge anyone by appearance.

Hard facts: unless you're a legacy of a donor of lots of $ and had a 4.0 in high school, if you don't have the "look" Pi phi is looking for you are not getting in.
You're not.
Dont get your hopes up.
Good news, you don't want to be where you're not wanted and superficial reigns.
You will be happier somewhere else.
