rushing as a sophomore

by: Ttu20

I'm rushing as a sophomore and want to know what my chances are for each house. I have a 3.8 gpa after my freshman year. I wasn't really involved on campus (that is why I want to rush). I got to see the friendships/ bonds some of my close friends made and all the philanthropy events they were apart of and I decided I wanted to be apart of it, too. Are rec letters crucial for me? Will I be cut from houses just because I'm a sophomore?

Yay glad you have a good perspective of Greek life!! No you wont be cut from houses strictly because youre a sophomore. And get those rec letters for every house if possible!!! Some houses require it. But if a house likes you enough they will get one for you during recruitment without your knowledge. Your GPA is great so your chances will be just as they would be for a freshman for every house.-maybe better if some people in a house know you.

Which houses require it?

I'm not sure about all but when I went through, XO strongly suggested a recommendation and 2 letters of support! Most all suggest anything but it's not crucial! Good luck
