there should be a another sorority

Sadly adding a chapter to a panhellenic community is a long extensive process with a lot of behind the scenes work. A lot goes in to figuring if their can be another chapter on campus, most importantly is there a need (numbers wise) for one. Most chapters at tech take in from 60-90 members during fall recruitment. In order to have a new chapter you have to have enough members in orders to financially support it. When another chapter is added, the pledge class numbers or "quotas" for each chapter drop, which also affects the chapters currently on campus! Im not exactly sure what else specifically but I know the chapters that were interested in building a chapter at Tech were looked at closely and the chapter that was a best fit at the time for our community was chosen. Im sure they had a hard time deciding as all sororities have pros and cons!

AZD has only been here for two years?
They need more time before a new house comes on.
Only fair to them and to a new house to get the same treatment after theyre brought on.
