types of girls based on the sorority
by: rrWas reading through some comments and read something that said like "Each sorority is different it just depends on what kind of girl you're looking for" can someone please explain the different types of girl that defines each sorority? Kinda just want some insight thanks.

Sometimes it really does help to get an understanding of girls that you could get along best, either way it's better information than ranks that don't matter. I really don't want to make any sorority sound better or worse than others. Just a few things I've personally seen.
Biggest Partiers-
ZTA/DDD/APHI/AXO
Most Studious-
PIPHI/THETA/KAPPA/XO
More Granola/Camp girls-
XO/KAPPA/THETA
Great Sisterhood (very objective, of course)-
KD/DG/ADPI/THETA
Lubbock Girls-
PIPHI/KAPPA
Bigger Emphasis on Philanthropy-
KD/ZTA/XO/APHI
Girls in YoungLife-
KAPPA/PIPHI/XO
Beautiful Houses (not that this should matter much, if at all)-
THETA/KAPPA/DG/PIPHI/XO/((DDD coming soon, AXO ( think?) coming soon))

The comment above is so stupid and biased. Every single sorority has plenty of studious girls and is passionate about their philanthropy. Most also have tons of girls involved in young life and other Christian organizations...and Lubbock girls...and "camp" girls. Overall not true at all, PNMs there are multiple kinds of girls in each chapter who are amazing that you won't fit in with. Chances are, you won't fit in with everyone even in your own sorority. Stereotypes don't matter and if they matter to you, you probably will not be happy

I don't agree with every single one on the list, but they all make sense on some level. I think everyone is well aware that there are every type of girl in every sorority. Being exposed to people different from you is one of the best things you can do for yourself. However, during recruitment- all the houses seem exactly the same. I'm not against PNM's reading this and getting an IDEA of where they'd feel at home.
PiPhi and Zeta are both top tier, but there's a handful of Zeta's who would not feel comfortable in Pi Phi and a handful Pi Phi's that would not be comfortable in Zeta.
Ranks don't matter, recruitment isn't reality, so ask your friends what they see. I don't think this is bad information

I agree on about half of these, but I didn't tri delt raise $80000 this semester for st Jude? They're one of the sororities here that emphasis philanthropy. Also, I know a lot of aphis in young life and super smart girls in aphi. That can be said for all sororities though. If you go to the library any night of the week you will see a huge group of girls from EACH sorority studying.

Girls join sororities to meet Frat boys.
So that means almost all the girls in sororities like to go out and go to parties. ALL THE SORORITIES HAVE LOTS OF PARTIERS, NOT JUST ONE OR TWO.
Haters will hate on the sororities with the most beautiful girls and boys just want to brag.
So if you join a sorority, plan of going to parties.
