I know Pi Kapp and Lambda have supposedly been improving among the small ones, and Delta Sig has the old Beta place so that's helping them out. Is SAE getting kicked off?

SAE shouldn't be listed on this. They have bar nights with all the top greeks and are up there. Delta Sig is losing the house they rented from Beta so there goes their short lived "fame". Pike has been known to be a laughing stock but I noticed they have a tight brotherhood compared to the bigger fraternities that have "cliques". TKE is new so who knows whats in store for them and idk about everyone else.

Pike is thrown in the middle by ato and sigma nu now. That's without a lodge and only back on campus for 3 years.

a few years ago they really were a bad fraternity, but they really have stepped it up. This next spring and fall recruitment will be gigantic for them.

Knows SAE is top tier, they were only mentioned because they are a top house that may or may not be gone soon. No one was comparing them to the smaller fraternities.

sucks. They are gone in 2 years. Always a sororities rebound when it comes to homecoming. no social/poor. Not very established and don't know what they are doing. Just a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off running around betas lodge...which goes back to beta very soon. Then they won't even have a house till Greek Circle 3 comes...which could be a while or never.

Yes but the athletic department wants it so it might not happen.

Just wanted to say that I think Sigma Nu is sometimes underrated and just overlooked. I've met a lot of really great (and good-looking) guys this past semester at Tech. Im not sure what their past history is or why they have such a low rep but I don't think they are too bad! As for SAE..i don't think they deserve to be considered as an upcoming or low tier fraternity. i think they are pretty up there if you ask most people. But if you're going to be unbiased in the "ranking" of fraternities..it is no doubt that Phi Delt, Delt and Fiji are the top. and SAE, Sig Ep, KA and Kappa Sig are middle, but still really fun guys with pretty good parties.

One said they were, they only got brought up cause they are likely getting kicked off campus. Everyone knows they are (were) top tier.

Also I think SAE was generally considered top tier, not middle, and not even necessarily behind Delt, Phi Delt and Fiji.

I think Lambda Chis and Teaks are the new upcoming fraternities, they only been around for so long but accomplish a lot, probably because they are gigantic fraternties everywhere else, will see them in the top soon!

Lambda Chi is relatively big nationally, but TKE is everywhere, that's it, most of their chapters are small and their national organization does nothing to promote them, they have the most chapters and something like the seventh most total members at the same time.

Sigma Chi is gone for a long time, and if what I've heard is true SAE will be too. That along with the possibility of Greek circle 3 means that a lot of the lower tier fraternities will probably make progress:

If anything Pike did Sigma Chi a favor. They were in the crapper with 40 or less guys. Once you fall from 100+ guys to less than 40 with a lodge that looks like that, you aren't gonna climb out of that hole. Now they get to restart in 5 years like Pike, Delta Sig, ATO, etc with a clean slate.

We're they really that low? At least 2 or 3 unhoused chapters have more than that right now.
