new sorority?
by: TTUgirlJust out of curiosity. I know, there's been some talk about new sororities on campus, and I just wanted to know everyone's thoughts. Which sorority would you like to see on campus? or do you think its a bad idea? Any thoughts? (even if your happily in another sorority)

DZ's are strong in the SEC.. LSU, Auburn, Florida.. You all don't know what your talking about.. DZ's are 3 or 4 largest nationally..kappas and thetas at auburn are not good and the top sorority at Auburn is Alpha Gamma Delta..KD tops at LSU along with DZ.. Really . Who here has heard of them. Problem with Texas is they think there are only 2 Sororities!! Kappa and Pi Phi.. It is maddening!!!

I'm a DZ fan but there's no reason to go on a rant about their presence in the SEC here. Everyone knows DZ has strong chapters in the SEC, but it's not about that. Tech liked DZ - they just liked what AXiD had to offer their community more, at this time. And Phi Mu has a history here, and what sorority woman can't identify with the desire to see a closed chapter come back (when they'd want the same if their own chapter had closed). DZ will continue to be strong nationally, even though things didn't go their way this time at Tech.

This is kind of irrelevant, to bump a post from over 2 years ago. Plus DZ just presented, with Phi Mu and Alpha Xi Delta and Alpha Xi Delta was selected to colonize Fall 2015 and Phi Mu after that between 2017-2019. So, obviously DZ was not a good fit.
