sorority questions? plz help?
by: OpI'm rushing this fall as a junior with a good gpa and first question, when will it let me register? Also, I read another article where the girl said ask for recommendations, I am a bit shy and none of my friends are in sororities, so how do I get recommendation letters for some of the houses? Also being a junior what houses would still give me a bid if they like me?

First of all, don't worry about what house will give a bid to juniors. Not important at the moment. You go through the entire recruitment process and it will sort itself out. As a junior you need to maximize your options. That means get recs. Google the largest city or county near you and the word "panhellenic". There are local alumni groups all over where women will gladly write recs for girls, even if they don't know them. Your local panhellenic group should have a website and they will offer workshops or give lists of ladies who will write recs. Get started NOW!
