fraternity dues

Just curious as to what the fraternity dues are for Texas Tech. I plan on attending TTU next Fall, and want to know what to expect. I don't particularly want to live in the house either.

Members don't live in houses (maybe a couple of boys do) but lodges at tech are for chapter meetings only pretty much.
Cost- 2500 a year approx plus extras like tshirts etc Plege year higher.

I’ll be an incoming freshman starting in fall. Interested to rush in an IFC affiliated chapter and want to know the stereotypes of each.
