You will only be able to do COB with chapters that are participating (ones who don't reach total after formal recruitment). You will have more opportunities for each sorority if you do formal recruitment since only a few of them participate in spring recruitment and Fall COB. If you know of a chapter you want to join, you can contact them after recruitment and hope they are participating.
