Alpha Delta Pi - ΑΔΠ Sorority Ratings at TTU

I am a Chi Omega alum from TTU and my daughter pledged ADPi. I have seen a rebirth in this chapter and met many beautiful and unique young ladies during my daughter’s time at Texas Tech. When she pledged there were some struggles, but with leadership these young ladies are facing the task of rebuilding head on. I respect that. I did not have to face these kind of challenges, as a Chi Omega, that these young ladies have had to deal with concerning reputation and recruitment (referencing the comments left on this site). The commitment these young ladies show to their chapter is amazing and I am in awe if the dedication these girls have persevered with. Alpha Delta Pi at Texas Tech has chosen to be small and select in recruitment and that says a lot. They are rebuilding with quality. I am disappointed with all the negative and rude comments. There is so much more to sisterhood than the way you look or if you are "awkward in conversation". One goal of sorority life it to help prepare young women and even those of us that are accomplished conversationalist had to start somewhere. I chose to take this time to write because I was looking at all the comments and am very aware if the young ladies that are up and coming and looking here for guidance about the different sororities at Texas Tech. My advice is to make up your own mind. Look a little deeper and find your home. Did I want my daughter to pledge Chi Omega in my house. Sure, that would have been nice. Truth is, she found what is right for her. She found HER home... and that makes me happy. She has grown in to a beautiful and accomplished young woman of Alpha Delta Pi and that is much more important than any “Greek Rating”.

As someone who loves this cheaper i had wanted to see what yall are saying. Yall are so weird to come on here and drag a sorority. Yall say we are “weird” “low” “clicks” the whole nine yards, but in reality why do u care so much. Worry about your own sorority each and everyone of yall has problems. Even if you don’t show it ik girls are complaining. Every sorority is different and fits people in other ways. Who cares what people say on here girls stay because they love it for their own reasons. As a transfer student who is at SEC school and sees the difference of greek life. I’ve NEVER heard as much hate as i did here. when people ask what sorority im in they say “omg that’s so fun why did u join.” I’ve had more conversations with other houses and are friends with people in different houses than i did here. Instead of judging get to know the person. It’s sad and hopefully every sorority does better. Pan love right? After 4 years sorority life won’t matter at all be kind not spiteful.

They’re okay. They have gone down hill but they used to be good. They’re akward now and weird but very nice girls and have a great sisterhood.

No one is joining their house and they will probs lose the sorority soon. They are very awkward in the recruitment process and uncomfortable compared to other houses. They are more like a club for socially awkward girls than any sorority and it was so hard to hold a decent conversation :(

Not it, they have voted themselves #1 but that’s not true and they are at the very bottom. They are lyingggggg

they’re irrelevant and nobody likes them. they are falling heavily. when rushing felt very awkward in the house.

not the best but the girls are nice. Not top house at tech like it is at other universities It’s average but it may just not be for me.

they seem like they’re nice girls, but overall they just try too hard. I know they’re probably going to lose their house soon because they can’t get people to join their sorority

Very sweet women!! Never met one who wasn’t an amazing friend. Their sisterhood is so strong. I heard they’re getting updates on their house too
