I'm a 5th year senior and a Phi Mu and cannot say enough about what this chapter has done for me. I've received leadership experience and campus leadership awards, resume experience and job offers, and a few lifelong friends. Of course not everyone is friends (which happens in any organization) and although I am closer to older Phi Mu's I'm still there for everyone, but my chapter is very diverse from athletic ability (yay for winning Greek week every year I've been active) to very smart (4.0s) and outgoing girls! I would tell anyone to join Greek life because it has brought me lifelong experiences and opportunities.

Great Fraternity, love hanging with them and love their parties. New pc that came in has a couple good looking guys. Only fraternity with a house on campus. Also have a good time hanging with them.

A really great and respectful group of guys. They’ve had a rough few years – to be fair all of Greek life on this campus has struggled – but lately you can tell things are improving and the guys are putting in a lot of work. House isn’t in the best neighborhood but if you text a brother they’ll send someone to where you’re parked and escort you to the house. Parties can get crazy, but they’re always lit. P.S. guys you really need to stop serving spaghetti and ragu as the entree at mixers.

I came to UMD for a year and transferred out, so i didnt rush a sorority but i did get to know a lot of these girls. i came to this site to check out my new campus but i had to say a word about phi mu! although i didnt go greek, i made real friendships with phi mu girls through classes and parties, and it definitely sounds like they have problem members but i can say id feel 100% more comfortable in this chapter than the others, considering the looks and whispers id get from other sorority girls when i walked into a frat party. news flash, i am allowed to go out too. anyways, all my phi mu friends were getting busy with full class loads, jobs, and doing different things for the chapter. so they may not all be your best friend, but im happy i could just talk to girls who were setting themselves up for success after college. i think thats worth more.

This sorority is definitely one of the best on campus. These ladies dedicate themselves to academics, sisterhood, and philanthropic work. These women truly embody what their founders stood for and the motto of the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority.

I personally know some of the ladies of Phi Mu, and they are a great bunch of women! Don’t let the mean comments swade your thinking because most of them are untrue. While they might have some personal differences, so does every sorority. These girls are awesome, nice, and sweet and are doing everything to change their reputation to the truth. Many of the newer girls are fixing what the older members broke, so I’m very optimistic about the next few years for these ladies. (Also, they kill Greek Week and Mock Rock every year)
