It happens, but the odds odds are heavily in your favor. The most important thing is to not turn down an invitation to attend an event. Then, on the last round, be sure to list all your possible choices on you preference card. Then you will definitely match and you will be off to the races.
I've only heard of a few girls over my time at SCU that were cut by all the groups. It happens though.
If you are shy, please go get some practice this summer talking to people. So many really nice girls get cut because they can't socially interact in this very intense setting.
