rush

how does rush work? and what percentage of guys/girls who get recruited? and what exactly does a "good pledge class" mean? is it shallow and based off looks or what?

Rush for sororities happens during the 2nd week of school. And just as a heads up "dirty rushing" is not allowed from the sororities so don't get mad if sophomore sorority sisters don't seem as friendly because technically they are not allowed to talk to you.

Girls aren't as competitive as guys. Mostly because of size. A typical sorority has 175-200 girls. While a typical fraternity here has 60-80 guys.

And a good pledge class would be one who has a relatively low number of cliques and where everyone gets along together and who is friendly. But yes it is often based off of looks as well.
