The main thing to know about rushing the Fraternities is that Sig Pi rushes in the fall, while the others rush in winter quarter. So you have to decide how you feel about Sig Pi pretty early on. CalPhi is a local chapter, they don't have their charter anymore, so if you're looking for a national chapter, they aren't it. Still a great group of guys. Sig Chi is probably the hardest to get into, but they're very fair in their rush/pledging process.

I wouldn't take the rankings on this site too seriously. Girls can give great insight but again, don't let their opinions completely influence your choice of house. You'll get a pretty good feel for SCU Greek life once you go through the rush process. Just be open minded and meet as many brothers as you can in each chapter. Since event times conflict later in the week, you will eventually have to decide which houses are your top two choices. However, keep in mind, things don't work at SCU like they do at most big schools. There are no call backs or cuts until bid day so you could end up going to all of the events for a fraternity even though you have no chance of receiving a bid from them.
