frat rush

I want to help clear it up. I’m in a frat and i would consider myself to be in one of the top frats. But I’m am completely bias, and whoever dislikes my vote you know they are just salty or angry but being completely bias this is how I would recommend the following frats: I am not ranking sig pi because what they have been doing to girls, and other frats to me has ruined all respect they had. A lot of frats are pissed at sig pi.
Pike/Calphi. These two frats usually have the same people rushing them. Their pledge process are similar with calphi being the hardest. If you want the ultimate frat experience you would rush these two.
Kappa sig/Tke would be the next tier. These are the frats that are respectable and their pledge process is similar. They are more mild frats. So if you want to be in a frat, and have parties, a pledge experience and mixers, but want more of a chill experience, then rush these two. Kappa sig and tke usually share the same rushees.
Next is sigma chi. To be they are bottom tier. You can ask all the frats last year, they only had 20 first prefs. Word on the street is (from many different frats) is that sigma chi had to ask pledges if their roommates would want bids. The thing about sig chi is that they are nice guys. Nothing is wrong with that. But frats tend to not respect sigma chi because they don’t have a pledge process. So if you want to not be hazed, or go through a actual pledge process then sigma chi would be good. Not all guys can handle being subject to harsh punishment everyday.
Then I would the other frats are about the same.
So my rankings for this winter rush and you would have to be insane not to agree with me because I’m being unbiased and trying to help out rushess:
Calphi/pike
Tke/kappa sig
Sig chi
Rest

The descriptions here are spot on but imo sig chi is sort of a hard one to rank. Most guys don't have a lot of respect for them because they don't have a pledge process and therefore don't offer a great "fraternity" experience, but they still do pretty well with girls (they marry aphi and there are still a decent amount of girls who prefer the "nice guy" vibe over the intense vibes of frats like pike/calphi). Other than that, this is pretty good

As a sophomore and having friends in sororities and frats, I would say these rankings are spot on. For the comment about kappa sigma, must be a hater cause not sure how a kappa sigma would write this and place their frat below pike but say he is in a top frat. So that comment makes no sense. As for Tke, tke doesn’t throw parties but they have a good brotherhood. Sig chi I would have to agree. Heard they were giving prefs to random ppl who didn’t rush them cause they had such a low turnout.
But yeah cmon, pike is first. Tke/kappa sig are tied for second. Sig chi is 3rd. Hard to rank calphi because they are just such an outlier. Haze so hard but they party hard. Some girls hate them and think they are creepy. Some girls love them so it’s really hard to rank calphi. But they could easily be top or bottom that’s up to u, but yeah these rankings are spot on.

Well I mean, saying “can’t cant throw anything rn because it’s blue tagged” isn’t really a valid excuse? The whole reason some fraternities are better is that they have the infrastructure to throw down and not get screwed at any moment they get rolled and blue tagged. ie having multiple actual party houses so you can throw multiple parties without getting rolled too many times at the same house within a certain time period and get. Having only one party house like tke does (OTR) leads to getting blue tagged because they have no choice but to throw parties and mixers there every week and if they get rolled a few times they’re done

Biggest problem with TKE is that they’re losing OTR. Sure they threw parties there last year, but they can’t use it for the rest of this year, and won’t be able to throw anything there before they lose the house.
