Kappa Sigma - ΚΣ Fraternity at Santa Clara University - SCU 1.9 A bunch of odd guys with a few decent ones thrown in. Parties are not too fun, they try really hard but the ratios are always awful. Also probably the most obvious self rankers on this site.

Kappa Sigma - ΚΣ Fraternity at Santa Clara University - SCU 3.0 A group of really weird guys with an even weirder pledge class. Their parties are not that fun and typically only have like 10 girls.

Kappa Sigma - ΚΣ Fraternity at Santa Clara University - SCU 1.7 These guys would do anything for the respect of their peers, but don't really understand the fact to be great you have to do great. One of the things they are the worst about is that they want to cultivate what they think a fraternity member should be, not who they actually are. This leave a dissonance between how they are face to face and how they are when they wear letters or when they pledge. This is evident in the fact of how many ranks are on this website; 100 ranks all together, pretty ridiculous when you see that Sig Pi has 81, lol

Kappa Sigma - ΚΣ Fraternity at Santa Clara University - SCU 2.4 I really don't get these guys. They clearly want to be respected as a fraternity, as evident by all the self ranks claiming they are a top house. However, they get the same collection of odd, random guys each year because they refuse to take anyone who prefs them as their second choice. Honestly, if they were open to taking people who prefed them second they would get better pledge classes and gain more respect. A lot of the guys who don't get bids to the most competitive frats are still cool, socially competent guys who would be fine being in another frat besides the one they prefed as first.

THIS IS STUPIDLY ACCURATE. their most recent pledge class falls flat in so many ways

Although I am no a K-Sig, I would like to say that although they do not take second prefs, they really have no ability to. What happens to those cards is every fraternity takes who ever first prefed them. They never see second prefs and never have the ability to see them because after that would involve other fraternities helping each other out or simple just more work to the recruitment chair that has been up all night anyways. The system is broken, which just leaves K-Sig with a random collection of dudes. Same could be said for any of the second pref fraternities

Yeah I guess that would be a lot of work in one night for a frat to go through another set of guys. I feel like it could be done though if they pushed rush forward a day earlier and did the decision making process over two nights. Frats would look over their first choices night one (would likely still be the only night for more highly prefed frats), then pass down the guys they don't bid to their second prefs. Those frats would then make a decision on those guys the next night. Would take a bit longer but would overall work out the best for frats and rushees both.

I don’t get how people outside of a fraternity can say they’re a “random group of dudes”. You don’t know anything about the inner workings of a fraternity or the brotherhood/friendships unless you’re in It. With Greek life, you don’t know much from the outside looking in, it’s all guess work and “stereotypes”

Kappa Sigma - ΚΣ Fraternity at Santa Clara University - SCU 2.2 Decent houses, but too many weird guys to be considered relevant. The constant self ranking isn't helping them either. They did get a few solid guys in this year's pledge class, so they could move up if the trend continues, but as for now they are the frat that gets more gdis showing up at their mixers than sorority girls.

Kappa Sigma - ΚΣ Fraternity at Santa Clara University - SCU 4.0 Kappa Sig does not get enough credit. Every interaction I have had with a Kappa Sig has been positive and the guys are always willing to help you out with anything. They genuinely want to get to know people and they know how to have a good time. They get underrated by the other frats. Good guys with good hearts and fun parties. Like a lot of their Pc (but there are definitely some weird ones) and have friends that are actives, all great people.
