Personally, I think aphi and dg are pretty much tied. They both have their flaws and good qualities, but...Read More

Although I have met a few nice girls in DG, these are your stereotypical sorority girls and have recently gotten in trouble with their national headquarters. These girls definitely like to have a good time and every fraternity man knows it. My recommendation is to leave the girl drama back in high school and look for someone other than white girls who don't know which way to hang their letters in the windows of Swig and Dunne in recruitment next year.

Kappas are known as the sweethearts of the Greek system but they were lucky to hit that sweet spot as Alpha Phi and DG were way out of their league and Theta was so far below. It has taken them a good couple of years to get it together while the new girls in ADPi already have more of a backbone. There seems to be something a little off or quirky about Kappas and playing sweet and innocent may get you sympathy votes but it's not going to move you into the top tier, hate to break it to you ladies.

Even though Theta is one of the best sororities nationally they are always scrapping the bottom of the barrel during recruitment at SCU and are the only sorority that has an additional winter rush every year. The girls are generally far less attractive than any of the other sororities. They would rather join a sorority even if it is bottom house than not be Greek at all. One thing the girls in Theta do have going for them is they have a great sisterhood because they're bonded in their weirdness.

I am interested to see how ADPi does in recruitment next year. A lot of the girls that joined were sophomores that did not go through recruitment freshman year but felt like they missed out so they wanted to join a sorority this year, and are willing to work that much hard to prove themselves. I could definitely see them moving up the ladder in the next couple of years!

A popular house but they arent the friendliest to other girls. They're known as the stuckup sorority here even though they are not the top house, although they are second best. Not trying to be mean at all, this is just the general consensus at Santa Clara

one of the reasons the greek system is a little messed up. they're great girls but they're definitely a "bottom tier" sorority for whatever reason

Ranking says it all. They're a "top tier" sorority based on popularity not classiness

As the first sorority ever founded at SCU, Alpha Phi is definitely top house even if it is only a matter of historicity. They are more stuck up than any of the other sororities but they certainly have a right to be. They pull out all the stops at recruitment and raise more than any other national Alpha Phi chapter for their philanthropy at their Red Dress Gala even if it might only be because of Daddy's checkbook. With a consistently fun and diverse pledge class, Alpha Phi keep up the good work!
