As a member of panhellenic, I can honestly say that theta is a wide mix of girls where the majority are cute, down to earth, and fun, but a few that are on the strange side bring down their image unfairly. Their past two pledges classes have been way better than before and I can definitely see theta on the rise in the next few years. Not gonna lie, I don't understand how that odd handful of people in theta are in a sorority, but most of them are people I would want to be/am friends with.

The Adpis I know are super nice! Not the sorority for you if you want crazy parties, but they're very involved and want to establish themselves firmly. Lots to work on for the future though.

Their philanthropy is off the charts, so they get major points for that. But to be fair, it is easy to be passionate about something that's so well-established, and they're the oldest house on campus. APhis are probably the least fun to be around- I've only met one that I would actually be interested in being friends with. Like DGs, they're considered a "top house" but I'm genuinely confused about why that is- a lot of them are superficial and self-absorbed. Not my cup of tea, but they are hot!

Kappas in general are great girls. They are the direct competitors of Theta during recruitment (and maybe ADPi this year), and tend not to attract the kinds of girls that automatically want DG or APhi (which most would agree is a good thing). However, their retention rate is not good. Especially with the most recent exec, the older girls have apparently been catty and downright cruel. Also, sisterhood is not great- I've heard most of the older girls don't know the younger girl's names.

Theta is stereotyped as being a "reject" chapter, but that couldn't be less accurate. They definitely need to work on their philanthropy (particularly when compared to DG&APhi), but Theta attracts some of the most sweet and quirky girls at SCU.They're also really involved, more so than other chapters(a ton are in APB, NCAA sports, culture clubs, the performing arts, etc). Frats don't consider Theta to be the hottest but they say they have more genuine fun with Thetas than the other sororities

DG is an extremely good looking house, and they definitely factor that into their criteria when they are looking at potential new members during recruitment. Take it or leave it, that's what it is! DG's also are highly coveted for mixers among the different frats, and they have the glamorous intimidation factor attached to their name among other chapters at SCU (same with Alpha Phi). However, DGs have one of the worst "sisterhoods" on campus, and are often seen as superficial, fake, and mean.

Being able to out drink someone or a house does not make a sorority good or bad that post is just dumb VV sorry but there are lots of randos in Theta and they are the bottom of SCU Greek Life

Theta is not a bottom sorority. We don't have a bottom at SCU. Theta has a lot more parties and they would outdrink a kappa or adpi anyday

The girls there are above average, but that's not to say that they aren't partiers. They are fun to be with and there are some thetas who can outdrink some of my bros. They are genuine and not the face girls but they are fun. \n\n\n\n\n
