Their day party yesterday was super fun and one of the better ones all year. Too bad the rest of the year hasn't been this good for them. They are really solid dudes and have the potential to be a great frat, but their housing issues have really messed them up this year. I really hope these rumors of rugby stealing otr aren't true, because if they lose otr next year is gonna suck for both them and SCU as a whole. If they can get their housing situation under control and can throw this good of parties regularly TKE will easily be upper mid tier, but right now they definitely aren't living up to their potential.

good group of guys, however interacting w girls is definitely not their strong suit yet. hope for the best, but for now they will stay bottom tier. a good pledge class next year could be very crucial for them. need more guys like sage!

we went to the day party today that they threw at otr and the same guys kept on trying to hit on me all day. Im bot sure if he is a pledge or an active but come on man, learn to take social cues

Cal Phi is currently the only frat at SCU that's on the rise. Everyone else is either stagnant or falling. Their parties this year have been a step up from last year and the guys are pretty chill and (for the most part) not super douchey. Some people like to give them crap because they're technically not a real frat, but that's honestly a part of what makes them work so well. Without nationals, they can run their organization the way they want to without anyone breathing down their necks or trying to push an agenda. Most of the bad things you hear about them are rumors.

I had one of these guys in a math class earlier this year. This dude tried so hard to come off as a "frat guy" to everyone, he wore his letters every other day and would not stop talking about his frat. The funny thing is, he was one of the least fratty looking kids I had ever seen. Now not all of these guys are like this, I do know a few decent guys here, but for the most part these guys have always come off as the weird kids who joined a frat because they thought it would automatically make them "cool".

They might not be the definitive best frat on campus, but they’re actually pretty down-to-earth guys who know how to throw a decent party. Also they’re one of the least creepy groups of guys which is always a plus. I’ve never felt uncomfortable or out of place at one of their events
