Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Alberta - UA 1.0 Happy SA awareness month Pike! You guys never fail to amaze anyone with the seemingly endless number of SA allegations against members of your chapter! The commitment to doing absolutely nothing to change the misogynistic culture of your chapter but talking about it is amazing! Don’t even waste your time bringing forward your concerns or allegations to this chapter, they won’t do anything about them and will always take the side of their brother. Continuing to hang out with someone who has made numerous women and members of the university community is shameful and disgusting. Thought you would’ve learned your lesson last year but clearly not.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Alberta - UA 3.4 As a duck, this frat has a very delicious mascot. When it comes to everything else its definitely something to think about. I do get that the president wants to improve things and it is important that he does but does no one else in that frat care? The culture inside pike is dysfunctional and they only care about looking the best not creating a culture of being the best. If you ride off your 2018 smythe award 4 years later as your biggest accomplishment it speaks volumes. I think they need to reach out and take action to make sure women are safe going there and not falsely say that they change when they barely have.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Alberta - UA 1.0 Horrible brotherhood. Half the guys leave after a semester make you feel like an outsider. Bad rep on campus girls are uncomfortable if they hear you’re a pike… don’t join worst mistake of mine

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Alberta - UA 4.7 So pike gets flooded with negative reviews the same day Deke gets flooded with praise…? Guess DKE is just desperate to be somebodies again. Don’t believe this BS, I have never felt even a little uncomfortable around pike, and I’m glad they took a stance against the least safe bar in the city. All chapters have their fringe and questionable members, but at least pike has been doing something about it unlike some of the other frats….

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Alberta - UA 2.2 Everything about this screams "Daddy's Money". During rush, they brag about all their trophies on Day 1 and try to make it look like they’re better than they are despite not winning a trophy for years. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know about these guys, they’re just as fake as their trophies.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Alberta - UA 1.0 On top of its other issues, pike seems to be having major substance abuse and alcohol issues right now, to a point where it’s starting to affect the functioning of the chapter. This chapter doesn’t seem to believe in itself anymore. One pike even told me he felt like the fraternity was going downhill. A well established fraternity like pike should have more self-respect.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Alberta - UA 2.5 This fraternity’s reputation has gone down significantly in the past couple of years. While Pike used to be a top fraternity on campus, they can’t accept the fact that other fraternities are establishing themselves and building their own name through being more inclusive and building genuine connections. Recently Pike has had some serious issues with members stealing property from other fraternity houses and damaging people’s property. Not to mention that it was members of Pike who vandalized two other fraternity houses at the start of the year, as well as writing Pike on the side of a university building. Despite their claims, their President and Vice Presidents are ineffective and unwilling to make actual change in their chapter or to hold members accountable for their actions. There are good reasons why Pike has been shadowbanned from multiple other Greek organizations’ parties and events and people are hesitant to associate with them. Honestly amazed that this chapter has been allowed to remain on campus given their extensive and unacceptable history. This chapter really has lived up to the stereotype of the US Pike chapters being unsafe and misogynistic.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Alberta - UA 2.9 This fraternity gets a reputation that is both warranted and unwarranted. Over the past little bit, there have been issues with the culture around this organization and how the exec deal with it. There is a lack of motivation among the general members to make a real difference in this community. Philanthropy is something that Pike strives on but the organization as a whole seems to always put minimal effort in except for a certain few (shout out to their VP Philanthropy for putting in so much effort). I'd consider who you trust and who is a real Scholar, Leader, Athlete, and Gentleman in this organization.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Alberta - UA 1.0 This fraternity sucks. They'll bid anything that breathes, which leads to a house filled with people who vaguely know each other. They consistently demean and disrespect women and have a long and serious history of allegations. They've hurt my people enough times and definitely need to be shut down.

Pi Kappa Alpha - ΠΚΑ Fraternity at University of Alberta - UA 1.0 There's more to brotherhood than an air of arrogance, and the stunt surrounding their cultural ignorance was not becoming of a supposed fraternity of any worth on campus. Get off the high horse “gentlemen”
