Has improved in recent years but still is that chapter you join when the other sororities don't let you in, which is unfortunate because some of the girls are really nice, and they seem to all be very close.

I think having the longest standing philanthropic event on campus speaks volumes on their dedication to charity. They also support a ton of other philanthropies, in addition to being involved all around campus on students union, orientation and other oppurtunities to give back. They are fine ladies with class, who still know how to have a good time! They are a great addition to the U of A Greek community and have been recognized locally and internationally for being an exceptional group.

The Bad: New members do not have access to the Constitution and Statutes, because it contains parts of their closed ritual. This means that new members do not know their rights as a sister until they are a full member of the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity. All of the Pi Phi alumni that are close friends of mine have spoken poorly of how they are treated once they go inactive or gain alumni status. There are rules regarding when they can enter the chapter house, and what events they can go to.

The Good: The Alberta Alpha Chapter has a very positive and strong presence at the U of A. They are very philanthropic with events like Speed Read, Pi Social, Arrowbands, and other events that raise awareness and funding for literacy. Being an active Pi-Phi is a fun endeavour that builds the image of a strong character. The Bad: go to the review from username "long comment part 2"

Some of these girls are amazing but the majority continuously disappoint me with their unclassy behavior.

Like all the other chapters on campus they are a solid bunch of guys. They do tend to take a bit of heat from other chapters since the whole non secret thing, but over the years they have contributed as much as any other chapter to the Student life at U of A. Have to give a shout out to the late Peter Lougheed, and also to their parties. They don't tend to throw many but the once they do always seem to be a blast.

Respectable group. Its a bit awkward though because unless their drunk most of them will never walk up to a girl and start a conversation. QUIT BEING SO SHY. Unless your a DG that is.

Chill guys, throw a sick road rally. I like their alum better than their current actives though.
