What's Hot - University of Alberta - UA

Some of their members are embarrassments to not only the greek system, but the university in general as students. They do have a couple really good guys that try to be involved, just appears that they are on a serious downward spiral. Wouldn't be surprised if these guys wind up in the next gateway news fraternity scandal. That being said, they seem to be pretty close to each other when they try doing events on campus together. Next DKE?

these guys are trying way to hard. One of their members is definitely loud and known around campus, and not for good reason. They are growing, which is good because apparently they were hurting for a while. Get more involved, tone down the volume, and see how many friends you can make.

Huge fraternity, and extremely involved with SU (along with Pike), however it seems they let anyone in as long as they meet a certain standard, which from what I gather from their recruitment campaigns in the past, is merely a GPA minimum. Some of them are nice, some of them I wouldn't trust with any female. Usually recruit people out of SU/Campus exec, so at least a few know how to run an organization (but only active for a few semesters).

Solid contenders as a fraternity, and have a lot of campus involvement. However, several guys need to cool their heads a little, as I hear things from friends that aren't very flattering (such as great parties when they throw them, but get really "greasy" or "douchey"). I like the involvement, but don't think I'd like to go to their parties.

They exist, had a few decent intramural teams over the years, just seem to not be involved outside of the greek community at the U of A. Met a couple though they seem pretty nice, not abrasive or try-hard's.

I work with several greeks fairly often, and I've NEVER seen these guys before. I've seen their house, I know they exist/haven't been shut down, they just don't do anything. It's ok to try harder boys.

Several members need to be put in their place, I've seen some horrible antics on campus by some of these guys (yes wearing their greek symbols/letters). Now I know that's not everyone in their chapter, as they seem to be pretty involved in SU stuff and other greek events. Just need to re-evaluate the type of people they want to let into their organization in the future, because I'm hearing more bad things more frequently.

I know they exist, and they've won a few competitions over the years, but I don't see them making a big impression on campus. How many of them are there? Do they have enough people to volunteer for more stuff? I don't know any of them personally, so I can't really rank them that fairly

I've see these girls wearing their greek symbols EVERYWHERE, holy crap brand recognition (you're doing it right!). Easy to pick them out, and they all seem really genuine and fun. I never hear anything about them getting super high academics or being recognized by a lot of other fraternities or sororities, but they are always really inviting and do a lot with campus. I don't know if their growing/improving or stagnant though.
