there was wine at a new member event which got them on probation and then they had an unregistered mixer that their nationals found out about. sounds like nothing but this will be the trend, nationals aren't going to support chapters that the school wants to get rid of for long, and GW wants us all gone. DG and sig ep are just the first to take the beatings

they repeatedly broke the rules and got caught by GW and their nationals. There are two sides to this, because a. the rules are kind of ridiculous. No one can have mixers because every greek org with the exception of like 3 sororities is on probation, and the rules as to what constitutes a mixer are incredibly strict. It makes for an unsafe environment for greeks, especially women, because these parties are forced off campus and into clubs and other unregulated venues where people can be more easily victimized. However b., DG didn't have the decency to know when they messed up, and didn't take their nationals seriously, and their disrespect is probably what got them in the most trouble. Their president posting snapchats saying "haze us" after they got kicked off? that just shows a level of immaturity suggesting that maybe it's not GW versus greek life, but just a DG attitude problem.
