pref night: can you be called back to dropped?

Can you be going to a pref party for a sorority that you don't like/ tried to drop? Are the only possibilities for pref the two that you said you wanted?

The sororities you go to tonight are ones you match with. So say you keep trying to drop XYZ sorority but keep getting invited back, it's because sorority ABC didn't invite you back so XYZ moved up so you could have as many options as possible.
