what types of girls do not fit into sororities?
by: hmmlike.. even though all the sororities are different, i feel like there is a typical sorority girl still: bubbly, confident, and outgoing. would you say this is true? I'm not being judgmental at all, just wondering if I would make a fool of myself by signing up for recruitment.

I was soooooo nervous about rushing because I did not consider myself a sorority girl at all. I wasn't the one in high school that had a ton of girl friends, and I'm definitely an introvert. I signed up for rush on the very last day (as a sophomore) because my roommates were doing it, and honestly it was one of the best things I've done at GW!! It's terrifying going into recruitment, but there's a home for you even if you don't feel like you fit the stereotypical sorority mold. I would recommend going through recruitment to anybody, and if you go through it and you really don't feel like it's for you, you can always disaffiliate
