How common is it for someone to not receive a bid when they rush a sorority?

It's really not that common, pledge class quotas keep getting bigger and bigger so you really don't have to worry about it. Just be yourself during rush and keep a positive attitude and everything will work out

it only happens if you're closed minded about what you're wiling to join. You're pretty much guaranteed a bid from any bottom tier (phi sig, pi phi, sdt), but if that's not what you want you might find yourself bidless. Be open minded to as many chapters as possible to maximize your options.
