welcome week top frats

As welcome week / syllabus week comes closer and closer, frats have the potential to start their year and rush process off right. What frats will we be seeing having the best parties? Of the top frats Sig Chi looks good since they have a nice house on campus. So does kappa sig. But with Sig Ep? They do not have a clear house like Phi Psi does so that may not look well for rushees.
Comment your prediction of best frats after the first week. It could change, or it could not. Predictions of best parties?

Beta and ZBT are big welcome week because they have obvious houses and try to throw down a lot early on. Sigma Chi has a big house and is up and coming so they will probably stand out too. Kappa sig just getting off probation means they'll definitely try to make a name for themselves early on but they are going to be careful about the jump off so maybe not. I don't think welcome week holds that much significance with rushees because they just go wherever they can get into but later find out what frats they want to be in/ what frats are truly top.

Everyone knows that the only places with big open parties during welcome week are like KA, ZBT, and Kappa Sig. Kids drink their booze and then nobody shows up to their rush. Frats like SigEp, Pike, SigChi, Pikapp scout out kids and invite them to mixers and pregames.

this. top frats don't need to hold open parties swarmed with freshman to get the guys they want. They wait to show the guys what the frat is really like by bringing them out to their closed parties and pre games

this post was either written by a bottom-tier girl or an incoming freshmen. even if you do get invited to a top frats closed party, it's unlikely they'll wanna discuss rush with you unless they've known you prior. and theyll remember you trying to be a hardo at their party. advice: take it easy, enjoy the booze from ka or kappa sig's freshmen fever parties and just go to rush wherever you want to.
