sorority bids?

I read about recruitment in the fall and I was wondering how it works. Each night you narrow down your preferences but do the sororities too? Do you have to get invited back/will they tell you that they want you back? On bid day can you get more than one bid, or only one?

so basically how it works is you go to 11 parties and talk to every sorority on campus. the next night you will go to maximum of 7, the next night a maximum of 5, and then on pref night a maximum of 3. you will rank your favorites every night, but you will also be ranked by the sororities as well

Will I know if they have dropped me before bid night?

and you will either receive one bid, or no bids on bid day
