sophomore sorority rushing?

What are the chances for a sophomore rushing next fall getting a bid? I know people say basically any freshman can get into SDT/Phisig, would this apply to a pretty but shy sophomore girl? I'm really nervous but really want to join a sorority as I've found it difficult to branch out freshman year.

If you go in open minded and yourself, you will get a bid.

Not all sororities take sophmores though (idk why) but most will if you click.

Like someone said, all nine that aren't Alpha Phi and AEPhi will definitely consider you. They are the only two where age really matters right away.

AEPhi took three sophomores this year actually, and even more during spring rush so idk what this page is talking about

I feel like I'd probably be the most interested in ADPi and Chi O. I'm nervous I'd be out of place as a sophomore? Would it make it harder to make friends? What are the chances of getting a bid for a sophomore?

chi o and a phi dropped me the first day, even though i had the most friends in those two chapters. i went to aephi, kkg, and sdt on pref. it's not impossible to get a bid if you're nice and like present yourself in your most attractive light

I'm not looking to get into aphi, but I hope adpi wouldn't drop me right away. 'Not impossible' doesn't sound like a strong likelihood.. So you don't feel out of place at all as a sophomore?

ADPi doesn't make huge cuts the first day. Biggest cuts go to Aphi, DG, KKG and SK. Chances are, unless you really screw up, you'll go to adpi for day 2.

I rushed as a sophomore and this is what I saw:
-If you're a sophomore, GPA is important for ADPi, ChiO, and PiPhi. It varies between them, but I think it's like a 3.3+
-You have to be pretty awesome for Aphi to take you as a sophomore
-There are def some older girls who went aephi this year so idk why everyone is saying they don't take them...
-I know a lot of sophomores who got cut from SK the first night. Not sure why, I don't think it was GPA.
-DG, KKG, KD, SDT, and PhiSig all seemed very fair and unbiased. Good mix of freshman and sophomores

What did you say when people asked why you didn't rush as a freshman? Did you find it just as easy to click with your pledge class as a sophomore?
