pnm with questions...
by: Oregondoood
I feel bad coming on here and asking so many questions, especially since this place seems to be flooded with PNM's asking questions.
Basically, I moved from Oregon to VA to go to NVCC to live with my uncle in hopes of transferring to UVA after 2 years. That didn't happen and I ended up at GWU, which I am really enjoying.
I transferred in last semester but I did not rush because I honestly didn't even think about it but now that I see and have discussed with other students how it helps to integrate into the school and form close bonds I'd really like to give it a shot.
I'd like to rush this spring.
I have a few questions...
1. Which fraternities are more open to taking sophomores/juniors?
2. Which fraternities aren't even worth trying as a junior?
3. When they ask for my gpa do I combine my transfer gpa with my fall semester GWU gpa?
4. Technically I am a junior and supposed to graduate in 2016 but I am picking up another major and my classes that transferred don't satisfy a lot of requirements so it looks like I am staying until 2017...Should I put 2017 down as my expected graduation year then?
Thanks for the help!

1) All fraternities are willing and open to taking sophomores/juniors provided they fit with their chapter
2) ^see above
3) honestly, it doesnt matter. you could make it up - rarely every checked.
4) put down 2017
freshman are desired more than sophomores.
cool sophomores stand out - huge plus.
sophomores > juniors, but juniors are still chill.
