KD and ADPi rarely mix with top tier frats.

Kappa Sig and Sigma Chi don't mix with DG or Kappa and PiKapp very rarely does.

Sk and Chi O pretty regularly mix with top tiers.

For the most part people stick within their own tiers except Alpha phi mixes with mid tiers quite a bit but they mostly stick to top even then.

Top - pike, phi psi sig ep/ alpha phi, dg

Upper - pi kapp/sk, chi o

Mid - sigma chi, kappa sig/kd/adpi

People usually don't go up or down more than one tier.

Its because SK mixes with mid tiers that kkg and dg do not mix with. Chi O also mixes with the same fraternities as SK so yes they are pretty similar.

The greek week partner is usually irrelevant unless they already like each other. DG isnt going to start loving pi kapp just because they're greek week partners

You spend a LOT of time with your greek week partner. If you don't get a good one you're screwed.

As a guy mixing matters. As a girl, you can show up to any party you want. Mixing is not a big deal for sororities the way it is for fraternities.

Greek week sucks. Im not sure where you got these ideas but the top frats have their pick of whatever sorority they want to mix with. You're wrong if you just think random girls can show up to their parties. Chi O got several mixers shut down on them since they got out of control.

Apparently you've had some bad greek week experience because everyone I know loves it, even if they get a bad match. But speaking as a girl, you DEFINITELY can go where you want. This includes GDI girls. It's just guys who rely on mixing because they aren't allowed into any party they want. Who a frat mixes with matters a lot more than who a sorority mixes with because sorority girls can go to any party they want. Ex: KD and Pike don't have formal mixers a lot, but every Pike party i go to, they are there. And stop bashing Chi O, they are a really fun chapter and everyone loves them. Getting out of hand is a good thing, otherwise you're just boring.
