too late to rush?

If I didn't go to a fraternities first event, can I still go to the second and third one and not have a problem besides my chances may have been hurt?

The top fraternities will probably cut you unless you know the brothers and have been around outside of rush. Otherwise, mid tiers and lower tiers will still take you so long as your normal.

if you spend the full time at nights 2 and 3 you're still fine if they like you.

What fraternities are you interested in? Its not too late regardless of where you go though, especially if you only focus on two fraternities or so. Spend as much time as you can at the fraternities you like and then tell the rush chair you couldn't make it to the first event because you had class.

Just hold off and rush in the spring. You'll have your pick, they get desperate.

Im in a top tier frat and did not go to the first night of rush. You're fine if you spend enough time at the other nights.
