Involved in what? They might not win sorority philanthropies, but they do well in most. They donated over $1000 to UV Days and i think they did that for AEPhi too. They won the football part of Anchorbowl too. I dont think theyve ever been on Cab, but that doesnt determine who's involved. No idea if they do well in sports, but i'd image they're towards to the top of the list (after Pike & Sig Ep). But GIs is 100 times better than SigEp Powder Puff (although not as big as FC yet) and they have a better social presence than Sig Ep and honestly Pike (Shipwrecked DESTROYED Pirate Party this year).

I know a lot of SKs agree with me on this:
1) Pike
2) Phi Psi
3) Sig Ep
4) Pi Kapp
5) Sigma Chi
6) Kappa Sig

Phi Psis did not win the football part of Anchorbowl.... GDIs did.

Not only did they not win it, they've never won anything. Betting on Pike or Sigep over Phi Psi is the safest bet you will ever make.

how does winning ANYTHING help you? Examples:

Lambda Chi won the most coveted sororities philanthropies (DG Anchorbowl)...does that mean they're automatically the best? definitely no.

Kappa Sig or Sigma Chi win almost every other sorority philanthropy...they still suck too.

The only thing Alpha Phi ever won was GIs this year...but before that they barely participated in any philanthropies...yet they're still the best?

Pike won Pikus this year....doesn't make them the best.

Pi Kapp & Chi Omega won Chapter of the Year....CERTAINLY doesn't make them the best as they are both upper-middle tier.

Your arguments are pointless. You dont need to win to be the best fraternity or sorority.

when I rushed phi psi, I was there for one event and just thought, these kids are a total mess. Half the kids I talked to were just a wreck. They're not a top fraternity.

Pike wont drop out of the top three no matter what. Pike Sig Ep and Phi Psi are in their own class. Just like how the top three sororitys are secure.

You're very short term minded. Pike just graduated their best class while taking in their worst class (worst than Sig Eps, Phi Psis, AND Pikapps)... that doesn't seem to make Pike so 'secure'. Also, the top three sororitys are totally not in a class of their own. Some consider SK (whom I'm assuming you left out) to be right up there at the top. And we all know Chi O isn't far behind SK. Scared people come and write about the top 3 frats/sororitys being in a league of their own when there's no real basis for that claim.

i think everyone on campus has noticed that PIKE is becoming less of thing. They're going to be on social & disciplinary probation. Their (rising) sophomore class is absolutely terrible (maybe 3-5 good kids total). Their best pledge class just graduated. Their brotherhood is visibly and obviously SO divided. They're the MOST HATED fraternity on campus - by far.

I haven't noticed. And as a fraternity man i will tell you that you have no right to judge another fraternities brotherhood, unless youre in it you know nothing about it. I only know two of their rising sophomores and theyre actually pretty cool guys, the greekrank gossip about them is probably bs.

look the only reason i would ever make a comment like that is if i knew it to be true. I'm friends with a large group of the rising seniors in Pike and the consensus among them is that their senior class is divided into 2-3 "cliques". The rising juniors are all pretty close, but only some like the rising seniors and almost no one in Pike likes their rising sophomores.

I've seen, first hand, their divided brotherhood. I KNOW there are cool guys in Pike, like i said i have many friends in that fraternity...but when it comes down to it, they're not as good as they were 2-3 years ago when they were 100% the best fraternity on campus. Now they've sunken pretty far and so few Greeks respect them

i don't know much about how they function so im not gonna argue with you on whether the rising seniors are close... but i doubt that no pikes like their rising sophomores, they can be seen partying with the older guys almost all the time. I mean, again, i don't know anything for sure but i'm curious as to what makes you say that?

thanks for clarifying. though i thaught their spring class had a decent reputation??? and why did they give them bids if they don't like them. it just doesn't make a lot of sense?

that class didnt have a good reputation, 1/2 their fall class dropped (mostly the good half) so they had to give bids to mediocre kids so they could keep #'s up. They have 5 or 6 dope kids and 10 kids who are an embarassment to what pike was

@nah and are they tho? your comments show how little you know about pike. as a groupie i will tell you that they have one of the strongest brotherhoods a gw. And who said the older guys that graduated stopped caring? i don't find that true, and i agree their freshmen consist of a few disappointments but that doesn't make the up the majority of those pledge classes. And out of all the fraternities at gw, i think you can agree that pike is the one that really doesn't need to compromise quality for numbers, they have alot of people as it it.

Get over yourself. Pike took crap kids and there's nothing you can say to change that. They took rejects from every top frat and are by far the most hated frat at GW. I look forward to their fading popularity.

I'm in sigma chi, but i know that actually did happen. stop frequenting greekrank, selfranking and bashing others. Find some better way to spend your summer

Phi Psi is incredibly overrated, taking half their class is too easy for pike

That's actually garbage. I went to a sigma chi open party and it was by far the most boring thing I have ever been to, those guys epitomize dull. Sure kappa sig has some freaks but their few goods ones triumph sigma chis all borderline okay guys.

I don't see what's "very clear" about Phi Psi besides the fact that they're loud stoners who dress like crayons. They recruit good kids but show absolutely no sign of organization. Phi Psi has been the same for years and isn't changing anytime soon.
