how much does your gpa matter? more so as a transf

by: NotSoBookSmart?

I transferred to GW this past year and by doing so I didnt have to send in any high school grades, etc. My high school GPA was not the strongest but at my old school I had a very high GPA. At GW my GPA has been I guess just about average I guess. But on the sorority registration it asks about my high school and GW GPA. How will this affect my chances at the better sororities? Or just overall in the process?

They care about your college grades only if you are a transfer.

So I'll put my high school GPA where it asks because it asks for my old college GPA in another section as well. What is the average GPA for sororitys at gw? I know some sororities have a higher minimum.

You have to have at least a 2.5 to even participate in recruitment-If you have a 3.0 or higher it won't be an issue at all

just average your GW GPA and your old college GPA and call that your "GPA".

No one is going to confirm you HS GPA. You can lie.
