Kappa Breakdown and life

We feel it is our responsibility to inform you about a practice known as "dirty rushing," specifically in the context of sororities. Dirty rushing involves the inappropriate and potentially illegal act of sororities buying meals for potential new members, inviting them to private residences, or offering other incentives in an attempt to sway their decisions during the recruitment process.
It is crucial to understand that engaging in dirty rushing not only goes against the principles of fair and genuine recruitment but is also prohibited by the rules and regulations governing our Greek life community. Such tactics not only compromise the integrity of the recruitment process but also reflect poorly on the values that sororities should uphold.
Sororities that resort to these tactics may be doing so out of desperation or a misguided belief that such actions will secure more members. However, we strongly advise against associating with sororities that engage in dirty rushing. Joining a sorority should be a meaningful and authentic experience, and true sisterhood is built on shared values, mutual respect, and genuine connections.
Furthermore, we want to emphasize that it is inappropriate for sororities to take potential new members to their nightlife club tables as a means of persuasion. This practice undermines the purpose of recruitment and could potentially put individuals in uncomfortable situations.
We encourage you to actively participate in the recruitment process, ask questions, and seek out sororities that align with your values. Choose a sorority that focuses on building meaningful connections and fostering a positive and inclusive sisterhood.
Wishing you a positive and rewarding experience as you navigate the recruitment process.
