KKG is not top and hasn't been since like 2013 when they lost their house. Just because a couple nepo babies were Kappas doesn't mean the house is actually well regarded and desirable for PNMs overall.
Alpha Phi used to be top pre-racism scandal (2018). They're still desirable among PNMs, but that def stained their rep.
AEPhi is so irrelevant and also not even close to top tier. The girls are honestly not good at recruiting at all. Like awful conversationalists, put in little effort.
Both KKG and AEPhi struggle with retention rates with existing members and with return rates during rush. I would say they probably get a pc they're happy with, but they also have to take some girls they don't want each year for the sake of quota. Also KD is not going to be rising to top tier so quickly, they're still so new (literally re-instated their charter in 2014 or something).
