DG is absolutely better than SK or Alpha Phi. Theres a reason DG has the pick of the guys and alpha phis/sks get stuck with pi kapp and the leftovers.

Alpha Phi and SK both mix with Pike, Sig Ep, Phi Psi and whoever else they want. They don't get "stuck" with pi kapp, they like pi kapp. Also, aphi has better relations with sig ep than DG does.

As far as sorority rankings go... Who cares. Sports don't me anything for girls. DG over Alpha phi because they put out more. Otherwise, no one cares at all. You all back stab each other regardless of what letters you wear.

I think they're number 2 now. Pike, phi psi and sig ep are all pretty close at the top I think but pike's standards at rush have gone down from the past. When Phi psi and sig ep do poorly at rush they dont panic - they just take fewer people, and then generally do better next go around.

Pike and Phi psi are going to have trouble replacing their seniors so things will really be more cleae after next fall rush.

i think phi psi's younger guys are much cooler than their seniors. they have great seniors, but unlike pike, the rest of their fraternity is just as cool if not better.

SigChi and PiKapp are definitely at the same level. Both took amazing fall pledge classes but DG/Kappa don't mix with them. Both frats mix with Alpha Phi, SK, and Chi-O a lot. They have so much in common.

Not sure what you classify as amazing but thats not quite the word I wouldve used to describe sig chi or pi kapps fall classes. In fact I think it was a weak year for greek life in general compared to past years.

Phi psis younger guys are good, but their seniors are too regardless of what you think... I think they are in a better position than pike though as of now

Dg and Kappa are starting to open up to Pikapp but not sigma chi so i think we can safely mark pi kapp down as #4 now with aepi gone and sigma chi doing badly. Pi kapp is like the lone upper mid frat, they're clearly better than sigma chi or kappa sig but not quite at top tier with the others.

It definitely was a weak year for greek life. But keep in mind Sigma Chi has the worst of the university sanctions. They would be stupid to do anything crazy right now.

I don't really know anyone in sigma chi... What happened to them?

When debating the quality of PC's - if PiKapp isn't in the discussion Pike won't be either. Most of Pikes Spring PC's were rejected from PiKapp.

true. Pike did take a lot of guys that got rejected from Pikapp that are clearly below there usual threshold. Plus pikapp is getting social with kappa and DG now so I'd say they're definitely on their way up. Their fall PC has some really cute guys too :)

PiKapp is really just a weird version of an already weird sigma chi... There is no real reason to think they're on the rise. All the posts claiming they're on the way up aren't really mentioning any reasons why they're good. Lots of weird nerdy guys in that frat. Solid middle tier just due to campus presence and their townhouse.

You can call Pikapp weird and nerdy but everyone knows that's completely wrong. Those guys are cool, laid back, and some are athletic. Their improvement is mixing with hotter sororities than just SK and Alpha Phi and recruiting rushees that chose Pikapp over Pike while Pike was stuck recruiting the kids they dropped after interview night. Some of my best friends are pikapps so maybe I'm biased but you can't deny anything I've written.

You're clearly a freshman if what you say is true. The only way thats possible is if you haven't been out that often. Just go to any Pike - PiKapp game and you can check that off your list after about 20 seconds.

Pikapp just looks kinda pathetic comparing themselves to PIKE and rejecting spring guys. Pike is still the best fraternity on campus and even Sig Ep and Phi Psi know that. Part of the reason those two are getting better is because they're honest with where their fraternities are at and how to fix their issues. PiKapp is still just a bunch of tools trying to get over their inferiority complex and not really doing anything about it. Theres a lot of chest thumping going on over at PiKapp and its laughable to the top 3 frats. Wouldn't surprise me if even kappa sig or sigma chi found it amusing as well.

Phi Psi barely ever even shows up to anything and they're hardly a well run fraternity. The correct order is 1) Pike 2) Sig Ep 3) Phi Psi. Sig Ep is going to keep a low profile this semester so don't expect to hear much from them. Pike still has the best sophomores and seniors. Rush is pretty notoriously unpredictable sometimes so its impossible to say who will be #1 next year but of those three I'd say phi psi is the least likely.

And to add to my comment. In reality, when it comes to trying hard and inferiority complexes Pike is all I can think of. Pikapp's name comes up a lot on this website because either A their girlfriends try to defend them or B you guys bring their name up. Greekrank at GW seems to be run by Pike and that's hilarious. I'm not defending Pikapp but I think you guys are completely blind to how hard you're trying by openly writing on these forums.
