by: Freshmen1I'm a freshmen considering either SigEp or PiKapp. I know during rush it'll be hard to decide so what do the girls of GW think? I've been looking around on the discussion and see a lot of Pikes but please don't clutter the post with your Pikus stats. Thanks.

Both are great chapters but girls who aren't DG (aka nasty human beings) tend to prefer Pi Kapp because they are good looking, fun and not total jerks. Sig Eps are more athletic and party harder but good luck finding a nice one. I've dated guys in both and can tell you they both have their merits. It's a matter of which merits are more important to you. But as for girls, you will not have a problem meeting girls in either one.

Both are controversial for their respective reasons. I also think a lot of girls trolling Pi Kapp on here haven't really ever spent any time around them.
Personally, I like them both, a lot, and think that you should rush both as they are really the only viable options for frat rushing these days (maybe Phi Psi, if that's what you're into).

Simply not true. Two of the top four sororities don't even mix with PiKapp, and haven't for years.

You're pretty nieve if you think just because kkg and DG don't "mix" with Pikapp those guys aren't hooking up. This is coming from a girl in one of "those" sororities.

My point was that "girls are less skeptical of pikapp" is not even close to being true.
The fact that you say those are the "only viable options" is also wrong. Phi Psi is thought of as just as good if not better by most people on campus. This is also the first year anyone really has considered PiKapp to be as good as Pike, which you should know by know if you're a senior as you claim to be. If you've ever been to a sorority crush party or formal, you will often see phi psis, pikes and sig eps getting along just fine with each other, pi kapps are just awkwardly there in the corner with their dates.
Oh and by the way, its "naive."

Girls are less skeptical of Pikapps because of their 'nice guy' reputation. It's also my opinion that those are the only stable and classy fraternities. I have nothing against Phi Psi - I just don't consider them organized like Sigep is. I didn't even like Pike when I was an underclass man so there's that.
Yeah this is the first year Pikapp and Pike have found themselves being compared but that's an embarrassment on Pikes behalf. You make it sound like some handicap for pikapp because they've only been in the big leagues for a year now.
Also, what crush party/formals are you talking about? Don't make empty claims. I can't imagine Pikapps were anymore out of place at DG's formal than Pikes were at SK's crush party.

I'd say the opposite actually - most girls who aren't sk prefer sigep. This website seems to have a lot of girls who love pi kapps for whatever reason but two of the top chapters don't even mix with them.
